Michael,

As you are fully aware, I too entered the domain industry not much longer after you and we are about to finish our 6 month 'road trip' across North America thanks to the domain industry...from an initial $5,000 investment and "hard work" over the last 3 years we too have built a domain business from scratch and enjoy the benefits and flexibility it provides!! So we too can travel the world so with the help of a Verizon Wireless connection, I can still manage our business anywhere!!

I too love this industry and it continues to change and we always adapt and move with the industry.

Aussie Aussie Aussie Oooh Oooh Oooh!!

[quote]was walking around the last Traffic conference and something really struck me about the majority of the attendees, they were weird or at the best quirky.

Hey !!!

I can sit and talk to Michael for hours. He is an extremely sharp individual. I don't think many of the newer domainers know him yet. But, they will.

Michael is one of those people that will be successful at whatever he does. Fortunately, he openly shares his knowledge with others.

Hopefully, I will see him in Miami if he doesn't mind sitting in the plane for 17 hours.

I don't know what to say.....many thanks for your kind remarks. The jury is still out on whether I'll be braving the flight to Miami.

Thats a great story Michael!

As the old saying goes "The Greatest Revenge is Massive Success" kudos to you!

It is something I can relate to, although I have only been buying domain names seriously for the past 12 months I have made a very good living from the internet over the past 5 years or so.

Domains names have been very rewarding so far and I look forward to having greater success with them over the years to come.

Thanks for lighting the way for us Aussie's and others globally.

Cheers mate!

Many thanks for your kind words. I think that the challenge ahead is to continue to adapt and keep a fresh and open view of this industry. Never say anything is a stupid idea.... - OzDomainer

Michael, that's a great success story - congrats (and to you and your wife for your 20th wedding anniversary).

When did you make your first domain purchase?
------------------------------
WHIZZBANG
Hmmm....that's an interesting question. I'm trying to remember when I purchased my first domain as a domainer. I think that it was about 4 years ago. - fizz

CONGRATULATIONS Michael.....

Frank Shilling's post to the domainers about your
drive and creativity is well deserved.
Hat's off !!

Ed, what a shock! I didn't know that Frank had posted it there. Thanks for the heads up.

Ed, I'll never specifically indicate how many domains we have other than to say that we control many thousands. - edMichigan
