It seems safe to come out from lurking around here and admit my neophtye presence. Thanks to Michael for his generosity with time, experiences and 101's, which have helped subjugate my initial scepticism about the domaining business. At least I'm beginning to know what I don't know

I have just a handful of domains, all registered in connection with my business (financial markets), but currently parked inactively at my hosting firm. I'm inclined now to get my hands dirty developing a couple of my domains and accelerating the learning process via the expected mistakes....

The posts on standards also stimulated some thoughts - when I get more comfortable with understanding the metrics of the business, I can see the potential for harnessing it with the asset management experience

looking forward to growing with all here,

Glenn, Hong Kong

Hi Glenn,

I'm new here, too, so I thought I would say "hello". Your domains sound interesting--financial ones usually are. Good luck with your development plans.

Hi Jill,

Thanks for the encouragement. When I read your intro post prior to joining here, I was quite intimidated by the speed & extent of your beginner's progress Now you can put those writing skills to good use!

My financial domains were reggd before I knew anything about this biz, so the burden of hyphens or the definite article probably kills a sale; it's develop or drop

I have fond memories of MSP - spent a lot of time there in the mid-90s.

Good luck ahead, and keep in touch,
Glenn
