I was approached by an individual showing interest to acquire a domain name I own.

Can anyone advise me on how to price my domain name? I don't know if I should quote him $100 or $10,000. And how do I justify that figure if asked?

This is a really tough one.....it depends upon the domain for a start. Can you release the domain name?

Absolutely. It's called greatcups.com. The buyer claims to be in distribution business of cups/mugs etc.

Just say your waiting on an appraisal from sedo & ask them to make a offer through Sedo. There has been some Nigerian scams going around. I got one yesterday wanting me to get an appraisal from some other site. Your buyer may be genuine but just try to get as much info from them as possible. If they don't want to go through Sedo then be suspicious.

That's good idea. Actually, scam didn't occur to me. I'll request buyer to use sedo service.
