I own over 2000 domains related to a country which is an international travel destination. I have developed one large site and 37 smaller sites. Each smaller site is a niche of the same country (business, geodomains, culture, etc).

I forward all the domains to the appropriate developed site (or page within the large site) in order to capture those pre-qualified leads landing them right on the niche site.

Right now the country is off the radar so the traffic and CTRs are light but this is my strategy, developing complimented by forwarding.
